You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers. We understand that your dog is a member of your family, and we will do everything to ensure their comfort in our care.

How can I get my dog to your location in Lovettsvilla, VA?

You are welcome to drop off or pick up your dog directly from our location, seven days a week (yes, even Sunday!). Please pick up before 11 a.m. the next day to not incur an extra day's charge.

If you would like to schedule door-to-door transportation, we can also come to your house in the D.C. area for a reasonable fee. Please inquire about shuttle transportation during your booking to ensure it will be available.

My pet has a special diet or medication. Can their needs be accommodated?

We can absolutely accommodate the dietary needs of your dog, but please provide explicit instructions to ensure all needs get met.

What do you supply for overnight boarding?

Blue Ribbon Acres Boarding offers an all-inclusive resort experience, including a wide variety of services while boarding your dog at reasonable rates.  We understand that each dog is an individual, as is its owner.

We work together with you to determine exercise, socialization, grooming, training and diet for your dog during his stay.

A typical boarding experience includes six to seven exercise periods per day, socialization as desired by the owner and rest in a large clean run with special doggy hammocks for sleeping.  We offer two types of standard diets with Top 10 rated kibble or can use your food.

Our pricing is all-inclusive and we don't charge extra for administering meds, leash walking or extra exercise. Our dogs go out in small groups as appropriate and only after careful evaluation by our owner, Jennifer Donnelly.
