Blue Ribbon Acres Boarding Spa opened in Lovettsville in April 2009, at a new facility with twenty-eight dog-friendly runs and acres of beautiful, secure, open spaces for supervised play. The business, formerly located in Strasburg, Virginia, was moved to land located next door to owner, Jennifer Donnelly. Today, Blue Ribbon Acres Boarding Spa is a full service canine boarding facility offering daily exercise, holistic & natural diets, training, grooming and a whole lot of love.

Jennifer Donnelly is a nationally acclaimed breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs and a superb dog trainer. Her dogs may be seen on the property and there are often puppies available. Jennifer has recently started showing Clumber Spaniels and will soon begin breeding these wonderful dogs, too.
